Mistra´s 30th jubilee conference explores the critical role of strategic environmental research in leading towards a sustainable future.

Andri Snær Magnason is an Icelandic writer and documentary filmmaker, born in Reykjavik Iceland 1973. His book, On Time and Water has been translated to more than 30 languages. Andri has written fiction, non-fiction, poetry, plays and short stories. He has won the Icelandic Literary Award in all categories, fiction, non-fiction and for children’s YA literature and numerous international awards.

At Mistra’s conference Andri shared perspectives on time and language in the context of climate transformation.
