In a recently compiled list of Sweden’s most powerful women, several connected with Mistra in various ways were prominent among those singled out for their capacity to transform society.
The 15 most important women in Sweden who can change society, according to the list published by the business weekly Veckans affärer, include Lin Lerpold, Executive Director of the Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets (Misum) at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE). There, she is helping to head the major shift in the business world’s focus from profit maximisation to sustainability.
Darja Isaksson, too, is named as one of the most powerful changers of society. She is the new Board Chair of Mistra SAMS, the Sustainable Accessibility and Mobility Services programme, which is developing sustainable mobility and accessibility solutions. As a member of the Swedish Government Innovation Council, Isaksson has been working on the issue of opportunities offered by digitisation, not least for sustainability.
Lena Treschow Torell, Chair of Mistra of many years’ standing, is included on the list of Sweden’s most powerful women who are professional board members. Today she sits on the boards of Investor, SKF and Saab.
